Firstly lets start off from the display. This phone comes with the full HD 1920x1080 resolution display with 441 pixels per inch. Samsung have also enlarged the screen size from 4.8" to 4.99" or 5". Comparing the two phones (GS3 and GS4) side by side there isnt that much of a difference as far as the dimensions are concerned since Samsung has enlarged the display while thinning down the bezel.
Next Galaxy S4 comes with a 13.1 MP Shooter. This is an upgrade from 8Mp camera on GS3. The front facing camera has also been upgraded to 2 MP. Galaxy S4 comes with 1.9GHz quad-core processor / 1.6GHz octa-core processor (will differ depending on market) and 2 GB RAM. It also comes with 16/32 or 64 Gb storage options.
Now lets get to the software. It ships with Android 4.2.2 with Samsung's Touchwiz. Samsung has also included hundred of new features for example, SmartPause which pauses a video when you look away from the screen. You can also scroll pages without touching the screen by just doing gestures in the air. Thats pretty awesome right? You also get a feature called AirView which means that you can hover your finger over lets say an email or message and it will show you details. And yes you can do this without touching the display!
Whats even better is that some of these features will also be making its way to Samsung Galaxy S3. Thats really generous of Samsung:) ! Samsung Galaxy S4 will be shipping by the end of April. Samsung has not yet announced the price.
Samsung Galaxy S4 looks like a strong smartphone. Its powerful with Octa Core processor chip and the HD display sounds just amazing. Now here is the question, Should you upgrade? Well if you are a Galaxy S3 user than its not mandatory however if you have S2 then hell yes! Whats even better is that i will be doing Android related videos on my channel too. Since i am thinking of getting the Samsung Galaxy S3.
