Windows 8 is awful! Mac OS X is AWESOME :)

So couple of weeks ago I decided to install Snow Leopard on my PC as virtual machine,the process was simple and it took me less than 20 minute to get it up and running.

Since I am having only 2GB of RAM, The virtual machine was a bit laggy but overall it worked nicely. Now I would like to tell you that back in March 2012 I installed Windows 8 on my computer for testing and reviewing. It was consumer preview but my main motive was to test the metro UI. Believe it or not it took me at least 48 hours to fully understand how windows 8 work. And yes this statement is coming from a windows 7 user 😑

However when I used the Mac OS X snow Leopard it took me less than 20 minutes to understand how it works.

Other than this the gestures and things like expose and spaces really increase your productivity and allow you to do things much more quickly.

Overall I am really pleased with Mac OS X and so not pleased with Windows 8. Windows 8 I think is a huge let down and I am really really disappointed.

The metro UI i believe is good for tablets and touch screen laptops. In order to fully experience windows 8 you need to have a tablet or touchscreen laptop. Mouse and keyboard is just not the best choice when using windows 8.




I have fell in love with Mac OS X to be honest and now I am actually having alot of problems with my windows machine.
