3G Unrestrictor updated for iOS 8

3G Unrestrictor gets updated for iOS 8. 3G Unrestrictor allows you to use your 3G/4G connection to back up to iCloud, or do such things that iOS restricts you from doing, with your 3G connection. It is one of the most popular tweaks and is now finally updated for iOS 8.

As of right now, there are reports of people having issues on the new devices (iPhone 6/6Plus). The tweak essentially tricks applications into believing that they are on wifi. Here are the things that 3GUnrestrictor enables:

Enables on LTE/3G/EDGE:
  • Make and receive FaceTime calls (even on AT&T and the iPhone 4/4S)
  • YouTube HD video quality selection
  • Download apps bigger than 100MB from the AppStore
  • Download music, movies, TV shows and podcasts bigger than 100MB from the iTunes Store
  • Use iCloud's Photo Stream
  • Automatically backup to iCloud
  • Watch videos with Amazon Prime and many other video streaming apps
  • Play online games, which usually only work on WiFi, like Order and Chaos or Modern Combat
  • Tweetbot Streaming
  • And much, much more since 3G Unrestrictor works with almost all apps 3rd party apps that restrict you in any way on 3G/LTE like for example Audible!

Let us know what you think about 3G Unrestrictor.

3G Unrestrictor is available for $3.99 on the Cydia store.
